Kindly arrive at the meeting place before the designated departure time. When carpooling, please share expenses with your driver. Participants are responsible for your own lunch, refreshments and binoculars. Dress appropriately for the weather. In the event of inclement weather, please contact the leader to check the status of the outing. Non-members are always welcome.

|Saturday February 11||Woodlot Conference||The 24th Annual Kawartha Woodlot Conference being held at Fleming College in Lindsay. The theme ‘Healthy Forest, Healthy Community’ will cover a broad range of topics ranging from managing woodlots as part of a natural heritage system to invasive species, tree identification and plantation thinning, species at risk and fun in the forest.|

Speaker:Ralph McKim “Ontario’s First Forester” Ralph, a local landowner and conservationist, will present the story of Ontario’s First Forester and how he helped reforest our watersheds, prevented forest fires, and saved our watersheds.|
